Very very good customer service here the staff was so good and excellent I'll give them a 7 star rating. The bed in 1209 was a little war out could use a new mattress but all in all this hotel is very clean the pool and jacuzzi were very clean. The staff was wonderful and friendly, they were great with my 4 year old and made us feel welcome. The facility was also decorated tastefully, and the noise level was nonexistent. I expected to hear people in the halls or some amount of others going in and out but we didn't hear anything, it was very peaceful! Very happy with our stay, we will definitely return when we are in town.

It’s very nice in appearance on the outside. Kind of plain in the inside but they make up for it by giving you free parking. The second floor always 4 accessible pool tables. There is also a hot tub a jacuzzi and a pool. Nice location right off the highway and right across from Red Lobster.

We had a little “staycation” here for the weekend and it was great! We loved spending time in the hot tub and pool, plus the garden tub in the room was a great touch. The staff were spectacular and we’ll definitely be back sometime!

Front desk staff extremely friendly, room was clean, bed comfortable, super nice and clean indoor pool and hot tub. Beautiful landscaping and a little cute courtyard that’s nice at night. The breakfast was plentiful grab and go type foods as well as toaster type foods. Very clean, will definitely be back and will tell friends and family to do so also. We booked directly through their website for a 20% discount. Loved it

The room was quiet, clean, and the bed even more comfy than home. I didn’t get a chance to use the whirlpool tub, but it looked awesome. Free breakfast was good with lots of choices, though I was surprised hot scrambled eggs weren’t available, as they usually are at hotel breakfast bars. It could be a supply chain issue, as I was told by a local Starbucks worker. All in all a comfortable overnight stay.

Very nice hotel well kept. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful when we had a slight problem checking in. The rooms was good sized and very very clean. Everything was well kept and updated. Everything worked a nice little breakfast was included with the room. Easy check out and located in a area with everything you could want from restaurants to stores for needs that may pop up. Close to many attractions in the area of Ann Arbor and Yipsy. Definitely will be back to stay again. Spa tub was very enjoyable and very comfortable for the wife and I to enjoy together. Would definitely recommend it as a good place to book a room and stay.

Over the last 20 years I have stayed in numerous hotels around Ann Arbor. The Ann Arbor Regent has been the best we have stayed at. It is super clean, renovated nicely and has a wonderful pool and spa area. The staff is so polite and accommodating and the ladies that clean the rooms are thorough and so very nice. I wish we could give the Ann Arbor Regent 10 stars. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant one. We will be back. I also want to offer a shout out to Michelle at the front desk. She was so pleasant from the moment we walk through the door and she welcomed us so warmly!

Clean, quiet room. Hotel has pool, cold breakfast selection, close to US23, nice jacuzzi tub, mini fridge and microwave. I rated it 4 stars because it has more in room amenities than some higher ranked hotels I've stayed at such as the Palazzo in Vegas which doesn't even have a fridge or microwave. It's not a bad hotel and it'll get the job done! I stayed for valentine's day.

We stayed here for one night, before the Mid-American Poms State Championship at the EMU Convocation Center, a quick and easy 5 minute drive away. Check in was quick and easy, and we were able to get into our room an hour before check in time.Our room was very clean and fresh. Everything worked without issue and it was very comfortable. There was a mini fridge and microwave, which was nice. The hotel itself was also clean and comfortable. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but it looked very nice.The breakfast area was on the small side, and the choices were limited to the usual continental breakfast choices, but it was a nice breakfast. The Bearclaw Coffee was excellent!Hotel staff was very attentive and friendly. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant, clean friendly place to stay, close to major roads and attractions.Thank you Ann Arbor Regent Hotel for the great stay!

This place is very clean and tidy. The staff is nice and accommodating. Highly recommend stay here if your in the area. Beds are comfy. A lot of things to do at the hotel like shuffleboard, pool table, nice sitting areas through the hotel, pool and hot tub. We enjoyed our stay.

If I could have given this hotel and more importantly, the staff 100 stars, I would have. My daughter is on a collegiate cheer team and EMU was hosting the NAIA national competition this last weekend. The hotel hosted the kids and coaches on the team plus all of the families traveling in from Missouri. First, Kathy and the entire staff were amazing. We were all on a first name basis when we left. From making sure we had what we needed and the space to make it happen to accommodating last minute rooms as their bus broke down and they had to stay an extra day. Everyone was so much fun. Every interaction with staff was positive and sweet. The rooms were clean and my son loved the pool and shuffleboard table!I’m just glad we found you all! Thanks for making our stay so much fun!

Staff was very accommodating, let me check in early and check out late- 2pm, so my son could swim more. The pool is a great size and so is the hot tub! I absolutely loved our Jacuzzi tub in our room as well. Fridge and microwaves also a nice touch!! Will return!!!

I love the place. I stayed there for about a day and it was wonderful. The average room has a tv, 2 beds, a bathroom (with a shower), and a cooler. Very pleased with the experience. I also hope to see their rose garden grow to be a beautiful garden.

This place is amazing, great pool/hot tub area. Friendly staff, amazing billiards and games room. The location puts you by all kinds of great food, river views, music, just a wonderful atmosphere and this place puts you right there. They set the tone for the whole weekend off when Marwan checked us in with a positive attitude and we will be back!

We stayed here for one night, for a track meet. It advertised as a suite but the room was not a suite. That said, it was a lovely spot. Staff were very friendly, hotel room was clean with new faucets and such. Loved the bath and body works cream, little dove soap and Scope to give us the conveniences of home. We would stay here again!

I stayed here for three days during an ice storm. The hotel was sold out. Every employee was kind and helpful. I would especially like to thank the breakfast attendants. While the space is very small, they worked diligently to keep items stocked and were helpful and polite while doing so.Very impressed.

Stayed one night during mediation visit. The room was clean and looked recently redecorated. The pool and hot tub area looked nice and clean, though we did not use. The work out room had 2 treadmills, a bike and an elliptical: all of which were... useable but entry level/old. The work out room was HOT and small, mentioned the temp to the front desk, so hopefully that will be adjusted. Breakfast was free with a variety of selection. Had to ask for decaf coffee, the attendant was friendly and immediately offered to make some, but she never brought it out. Plenty of parking during our midweek stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing staffI accidentally left my bathing suit and had to call and ask the hotel if it was found in my room a d could they please ship it to me. The staff was excellent. They found my suit and had it fed exed the next day. The room itself was very comfortable and inviting. The locations was perfect and the amenities were exceptional.

Had to stay here for family health issues. They gave me a shuttle to and from the U of M university Hospital. Drivers are excellent front desk ladies were great and breakfast woman made sure you started your day off great and housekeeping made sure the room was clean! The hotel is far from the city center, but it is very easy to reach by bus number 4.There is a very nice shopping center close to the hotel.You can find everything you are looking for around the hotel.You will be very pleased with your stay at the hotel.It's nice that the staff is smiling.In addition, the hotel works in terms of sustainability, I thank the hotel management and wish success to the employees.

We just check out and I give this hotel an A+ 5 star rating! Top of my priorities are cleanliness and this hotel was spotless everywhere I looked. Bed was comfortable, pool and hot tub were clean and the atmosphere was top notch. I didn’t get the clerks name when we checked in but he was phenomenal. The free buffet breakfast hot, delicious and very satisfying. Highly recommend!

This was our first experience at Ann Arbor’s Regent Hotel and Suites on Carpenter Road. But we had an absolutely excellent stay.The front desk went above and beyond to check us in early when we arrived in a very hot day 90 minutes early so that we didn’t have to wait in our cars in the parking lot.And we loved the soft down-filled pillows with cotton pillow cases, and cotton bed sheets. The bathrooms were very clean with lots of fluffy cotton towels.We used the fitness center that had all the basics for a good workout including treadmill where we put in a gentle few miles, stationary bikes, weight machines, cold water machine, more fluffy cotton towels.And we loved the free breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage links, great coffee, tossed bagels, cereal, yogurt, and oatmeal.And we loved the proximity to restaurants for our other meals, including Red Lobster right across the street where we could pre-order and use their curbside pickup for great shrimp and lobster tacos, and similarly for Japanese food at “Yotsuba” just down the street for pick up and dining in our plush rooms.We will definitely stay again!! 👍👍👍👍👍

Clean room; comfy bed; top-notch location that’s both super close to downtown Ann Arbor/UMich, and to stores and shops like Kroger and Old Navy; and impeccable customer service! Really polite staff both at the front desk and everywhere else in the building. Family-friendly for those who are traveling with kids. Thank you for the great stay!!I removed one star for one reason: The fitness center / gym has a very old piece of weight lifting equipment that honestly felt like it’d fall apart and collapse on me lol. It didn’t feel safe at all. Literally quaking on the 30lb setting. Highly recommend switching it for a dumbbell rack, two benches, and a mat. That covers just about any workout anyone might want

We were passing through Ann Arbor and needed a place to stay along the way. We chose this hotel and were delightfully surprised at how absolutely wonderful it was. It was clean, cozy and quiet and such a beautiful place to stay we wished we could have stayed longer. There were many extras included which we didn’t get to take advantage of, but we hope to come back and in the meantime we highly recommend it.

My husband and I stayed Jan 16, 2024 and really enjoyed our stay. Staff was wonderful, upbeat, friendly and courteous. Our room was clean and offered several things to make our stay easy. Our room overlooked a beautiful courtyard. If you stay here, you could spend the whole time here and we might just do that next time. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Staff does a great job keeping it clean and stocked with towels. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from. We will stay again. Planning on visiting Ann Arbor more

I have never stayed at a hotel so clean. Honestly whoever is in charge of cleaning is really putting the effort in. The decor is definitely trapped in the early 90s and I love it. It felt very nostalgic and reminded me of those family road trip hotels you would stay at as a kid with your parents. I would, and have, recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay at a ridiculously clean 90s time warp.

My spouse and i were in the area to help some friends, so having a lovely place to rest and recover was paramount, and the Regent definitely delivered. Our room was charming, and the bed was so cozy.The staff are what really made the experience stand out though, and Michelle at the front desk really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of (which meant we could take care of our friends!). Located right off of the highway you may expect this hotel may not be up to your standards, but this is far from the case. This hotel BEYOND exceeded our expectations. The garden tub suite was very roomy, and the tub was clean and the jets worked perfectly. The price for such a nice hotel is great as well. Will return any time I come to Ann Arbor

Spectacular! Really nice attention to detail in this hotel. Cool design, amazing ambiance... love the swimming pool / hot tub area, very inviting with lots of nice tables and chairs like a large café setting. Beautiful view of back garden and gazebo. Upstairs common area has a pool table, shuffleboard, foosball table, chessboards built into large glass-top tables, two TV's... set up like a sports bar. Very, very unique hotel and everything here (breakfast, rooms, staff) is awesome!!! Nice gym too. No laundry. Just fyi.

The issue with The Regent is once you stay there you'll forever compare other hotels to theirs and nothing beats the staff, rooms, comfort, and price of The Regent. It's my go to hotel in the area and always provides an exceptional experience for their guests. I also work with people who travel to the area and it is always the first location I suggest to anyone looking for a room.The exterior of the hotel is very clean and tidy putting you at ease right from the start. That tidiness continues into the beautiful lobby area that attaches to a fantastic INDOOR pool area. They also have a small game room upstairs which while I've never used isn't something I see too often in hotels and I'm sure I'll use that billiards table one of these days.Real talk, I do see mention that the rooms are small but I honestly disagree. For the price, service, and my goodness the cleanliness of the room I'm just fine missing out on 6 extra sq ft of room space which in my experience at other hotels is often occupied by a dingy old sofa that I have no desire to sit on anyway.10/10 and cannot recommend enough.

Booked our room under duress after our Delta flight was canceled late at night after waiting at the airport for hours. This serendipitous event turned out to be the high point of our day. Everyone from the booking agent on the phone to the sweet front desk agent that gave us late check out was kind and courteous. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast most appreciated. Thank you Regent, you went above and beyond and you will always have our business when we are in Ann Arbor.

Hotel was fine. Breakfast is simple, similar to a Holiday Inn Express. Only complaint there was the space for breakfast is incredibly small and tight. Rooms are outdated but were clean. Bathroom had no fan but had a telephone. Pool is old school but very nice.

We have loved staying here the past 2 summers. Rooms are clean beds are comfortable.The staff members are so friendly. Hot bear claw coffee and cookies in the afternoon. Fantastic hot breakfast every morning. They serve breakfast early to accommodate the UA Men & Women before they head to Washtenaw Community College for classes & it’s very appreciated.Pool & hot tub. Beautiful garden to sit outside day or night.

Trust me I have been in multiple hotels traveling this weekend. The hotel is located in a spot where you can get what food or whatever you may need!!

Pretty decent hotel here, very friendly and helpful staff, clean, quiet, decent breakfast. PCs available for use in the lobby were extremely helpful when I had to check something that I could not on my phone. Bottled water provided cheaper than the vending machine. Room was fine, climate control a little older but not too noisy. Not a whole lot in the neighborhood but at least a few restaurants, and this hotel is also one of the stops for the gameday shuttle so it's super convenient. I would stay here again.

Comfy bed! We stayed three nights. The third night we got hot chocolate chip cookies, the gut that made them was super nice!! The cleaning staff would put bottled water in the room for $1 each which was so nice..but we didn't get it on the third night. A little hit and miss on service, but the beds were pretty comfy and everything was clean. We'd definitely stay here again.
