Housekeeping Cleaner

The Ann Arbor Regent Hotel and Suites is seeking a room attendant. The housekeeping staff is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas. The shifts generally run from 9am-5pm and must be available for weekends and holidays. Prior hotel experience is preferred but not required.

Night Auditor

The Ann Arbor Regent Hotel is seeking a Full-Time Night Auditor/Front desk agent to be part of our amazing hotel team. The hours are from 11 PM to 7 AM, Sunday through Thursday. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Greeting guests at the front desk
  • Answering phones
  • Checking guests in and out
  • Taking reservations
  • Reconciling the days paperwork
  • Run proper reports and be able to fix any discrepancies.
  • ensuring the daily accounting balances
  • Valet parking
  • Run a night audit in the computer.
  • Fill out an inn report correctly.

Breakfast Attendant

Ann Arbor Regent Hotel is looking for a motivated individual to join our hospitality team. This person would be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and cleaning up our continental breakfast. This would be a part time position and the hours are from 6:30am-11am. The candidate must also be available to work weekends and holidays.

Bellman

The Ann Arbor Regent Hotel and Suites is seeking a bellman to join our staff. The shifts would be 7-3 or 3-11 and must be available to work weekends/holidays. This position responsibilities include but are not limited:

  • Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times.
  • Assist guests checking in or out with baggage, answering questions, making deliveries, etc.
  • Driving our hotel shuttle to/from area hospitals or for corporate events
  • Maintain cleanliness of lobby and entryway; shovel snow and perform various cleaning assignments
  • Assist housekeeping staff as needed; deliver and pick up laundry, deliver towels, soap or other items to rooms.
  • Cross Train at the front desk and continental breakfast positions
  • No hotel experience necessary
  • Valid driver’s license is mandatory

Front Desk Clerk

The Ann Arbor Regent Hotel and Suites is seeking a part time/ full time front desk clerk. The shifts are 7-3 and 3-11 and must be available on the weekends and holidays. Prior hotel front desk experience is preferred but not required. The responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Greet guests as they arrive to the hotel
  • Check guests in/out of the hotel
  • Taking reservations
  • Answering the phone and assisting guests as needed
  • Assisting in house guests with questions or directions as needed
  • Complete any special tasks that may be assigned

Front Office Supervisor

We are looking for a front office supervisor to join our team!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Must be very detail orientated and have experience in managing and motivating all personnel, staffing responsibilities, training, discipline, scheduling, and daily hotel operations. Assists Front Office Manager in managing front office systems, including breakfast and bellman.

  • An hourly position that works a minimum of 40 hours each week.
  • Some experience preferred – in a hotel or equivalent supervisory position.
  • Must possess knowledge of the hotel industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate staff to provide excellent guest service.
  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external guests, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse various situations, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.
