Ann Arbor is full of world-class arts and culture, and the Ann Arbor Film Festival is no exception. The Ann Arbor Film Festival is the oldest avant-garde and experimental film festival in North America. Filmmakers and multimedia artists from around the globe flock to Ann Arbor to showcase the most beautiful, thought-provoking, and cutting edge work they have to offer. AAFF takes place over five days—March 20th through 25^th—at the historic Michigan Theater, and features dozens of screenings and events.

One of the newer features of the Ann Arbor Film Festival is Off The Screen!, showcases expanded cinema performances, new media installations, and salons. True to their mission, AAFF continues to innovate by supporting new technology that allows artists to tell stories in exciting new ways.

Each night of the festival, after screenings are finished, the Ann Arbor Film Festival invites you to attend their special after parties at local Ann Arbor bars and clubs.
